Journeys, lead scoring, email, social, landing pages, and conversion analytics — all writing to the same CRM record your sales team works in. Attribution stops being a modelling exercise and starts being a database query.
Marketing platforms are excellent at reporting on themselves. Opens, clicks, impressions, engagement rate — all measured beautifully, all stopping precisely at the boundary where the lead becomes sales' problem.
So the quarterly review turns into a negotiation. Marketing presents MQLs. Sales says the leads were bad. Nobody can settle it, because the campaign data lives in one vendor's database and the revenue data lives in another's, and the join between them is a monthly CSV export somebody does by hand.
Attribution is not hard because the maths is hard. It is hard because the two halves of the answer were bought from different companies and never truly connected.
Every one of these is included in a Zoho One licence — no per-app upsell, no separate contract, no additional integration bill.
The journey builder: multi-step, multi-channel nurture flows with behavioural triggers, lead scoring against your own conversion history, progressive profiling, and branching logic. Because it reads and writes the same records as CRM, a journey can branch on pipeline stage or deal value — not just on email engagement.
Replaces HubSpot Marketing Hub, Marketo, PardotEmail marketing at scale: list segmentation on any CRM field, A/B testing, drip series, send-time optimization, deliverability tooling with authentication setup, and compliance handling for unsubscribes and consent.
Replaces Mailchimp, Constant Contact, KlaviyoPublishing, scheduling, and monitoring across your channels from one queue, with listening for brand mentions and keywords. Social leads and conversations attach to CRM records, so a DM conversation is not a separate history from the sales one.
Replaces Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout SocialForms with conditional logic, payments, file uploads, and approval routing, plus a standalone landing page builder with templates and A/B variants. Submissions write directly into CRM — no connector, no polling delay, no orphaned entries.
Replaces Typeform, Unbounce, InstapageConversion optimization: heatmaps, scroll depth, session recordings, funnel drop-off analysis, and A/B and split URL testing. Shows you where the funnel actually leaks rather than where you assume it does.
Replaces Hotjar, Optimizely, VWOCustomer and market surveys with branching logic and NPS tracking, plus full event management — registration, ticketing, agendas, and attendee apps. Both feed responses and attendance straight onto the contact record.
Replaces SurveyMonkey, Eventbrite, CventThe difference between a suite and a stack is what happens between the applications. Here is a single process moving through several of them without a hand-off.
You can finally answer the question every marketing budget conversation turns on: which channels produced money, not which produced leads. Not modelled, not estimated — read directly from one dataset that spans the first click and the cleared payment.
The honest version, including where it is genuinely painful. Anyone who tells you a migration is effortless has not run one.
Coming from HubSpot Marketing Hub
Contacts, lists, and form submissions export and import cleanly. Workflows do not port and have to be rebuilt in Marketing Automation — which is usually an improvement, because most HubSpot portals carry years of workflows nobody has audited. Email send history does not carry over, so decide early whether you need it archived separately for compliance.
Coming from Mailchimp or Constant Contact
The simplest migration here. Lists, segments, and templates move over straightforwardly. The one thing to plan properly is deliverability: warm the new sending domain gradually and get SPF, DKIM and DMARC authenticated before the first large send, or your first campaign from the new platform will land in spam and you will blame the software.
Coming from Marketo or Pardot
The heaviest lift on this page. These platforms accumulate deeply customized scoring models and complex nested programs, none of which port automatically. Treat it as a rebuild informed by the old system rather than a migration — and use it as the opportunity to retire the scoring rules that stopped reflecting reality three years ago.
Coming from Nothing at all
Plenty of companies arrive with an inbox, a spreadsheet, and good intentions. This is the easiest start and the one with the most upside — but resist switching on every app at once. Get email and forms writing into CRM first, prove the loop closes, then layer scoring, journeys, and conversion testing on top once there is enough data for any of it to mean something.
The questions that come up when teams evaluate this part of the suite.
HubSpot's marketing interface is more polished, and its content and SEO tooling is genuinely ahead. If your marketing team's day is spent entirely inside a marketing platform and budget is not a constraint, HubSpot is a fine choice.
The case for Zoho is total cost and the closed loop. HubSpot's pricing scales aggressively with contact count, and connecting it to accounting so you can report on collected revenue rather than closed deals is extra work and extra spend. In Zoho One the marketing tools, the CRM, and the ledger are already one system, and the marketing apps are included rather than a separate five-figure line item.
This is one of the clearest advantages. Zoho One is licensed per employee, not per marketing contact. Growing your database from 10,000 to 100,000 contacts does not change your bill, where on most marketing platforms that growth is precisely what triggers the next pricing tier.
There are fair-use sending limits on email volume, which matter if you send at very high volume — worth checking against your actual send patterns during the trial.
Technically yes, through Flow. But this is the pairing where we would push back hardest, because the entire argument for Zoho's marketing stack is that it shares a database with the CRM. Split them and you have reintroduced the sync boundary that caused your attribution problem in the first place, while paying for two platforms. If you are only going to consolidate one thing, consolidate these two together.
Campaigns includes proper authentication setup, dedicated IP options at volume, list hygiene tooling, and bounce and complaint handling. Deliverability is mostly determined by your sending practices rather than your vendor — list quality, consent, and domain warm-up matter far more than the platform.
The one migration-specific risk is real, though: moving to any new sending infrastructure resets your reputation. Warm up gradually over several weeks instead of migrating on a Friday and sending to your full list on Monday.
This is a genuine gap. Zoho's content and SEO tooling is thinner than HubSpot's, and if organic content is your primary growth channel you will want dedicated tools alongside it.
That happens to be a problem we solve separately — our AI SEO practice at rankless.ai focuses on getting brands cited by AI search engines, which is where a growing share of discovery now happens. It runs alongside Zoho rather than inside it.
We build the loop that runs from first click to collected payment — campaign structure, scoring model, CRM handoff rules, and the dashboards that make the answer obvious.
